After years-long research journey, MAPS PBC just filed an FDA application for the approval of MDMA assisted therapy for PTSD. This is the first such application for any Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy!!!

As you might know, MAPS research has shown truly unprecedented effectiveness of this therapy for treatment of trauma combined with good safety profile.
The expectation now is that MDMA-Assisted Therapy might be approved for clinical use sometime in late 2024, with its rare Breakthrough Therapy destination likely to speed up the approval process.
There’s considerable excitement in the field of MDMA-Assisted Therapy. This therapy offers great hope for healing trauma, rather than just manage symptoms. At the same time, with a new therapy (especially one that combines psychotherapy with consciousness-altering drug) come new challenges, and so there is a lot of learning ahead of us all.
Enhanced Therapy Institute is now launching an in-person MDMA-AT Training Groups for Health Care Professionals led by MAPS-trained Jessica Gonzalez (Gestalt Psychotherapist) and Darek Dawda (Clinical Psychologist and Host of Enhanced Therapy Podcast). Because of the uncertainty around future regulatory landscape, we are unsure as to the training that will be required for the future delivery of MDMA-AT. However, we would like to do our part to help Manitoba community prepare for the delivery of this promising therapy. The first module of our training is starting in January 2024 and it’s already full. However, if you would like to apply for future modules, please send your CV and cover letter to info@enhancedtherapy.ca.
We here all hope for more peace and love in the world, and we wish you the same.
